Designed to optimize utility, the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder® delivers more of what families on the go need. It’ll arrive soon at Ken Nelson Nissan in Dixon, Illinois, so here’s a spotlight on what you can expect from this SUV.
Starting with an increase in total interior volume (164.6 cubic feet compared to last year’s 154), the 2022 Pathfinder also offers new features including seating for eight passengers, available captain’s chairs, and accommodations for two car seats in the third row and three units in the second row.
“We closely analyzed every angle to make this vehicle as versatile as possible, while also delivering on rugged capability,” said Jared Haslam, vice president of Product and Services Planning for Nissan U.S. and Canada. “Our goal was to turn Pathfinder into a multi-tool on wheels – making this the go-to SUV for hard-working, adventurous families.”
The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder offers best-in-class front seat legroom of 44.3 inches. And, third row passengers won’t struggle to reach their seats thanks to the Nissan EZ FLEX® one-touch seating. Once seated, they will appreciate the 46.7 inches of hip room, which makes that third row feel spacious. This reflects an increase of nearly 5 inches over previous Pathfinder models.
Convenient and concealed cargo space afforded by the new luggage box increases from 33.3 liters to 54.1 liters in the 2022 Pathfinder. For items you need access to during the drive, the 2022 Pathfinder features a new storage shelf located on top of the glove compartment. Thanks to 16 beverage holders placed throughout the cabin, you and your passengers can stay adequately hydrated on long journeys.
