Nissan’s global design team invites you to #DrawDrawDraw. In an effort to connect artists all over the world, the company has created downloadable coloring pages.
The project offers 23 line drawings of Nissan cars, including classics like the 240Z and the Rouge, to today’s Leaf and concept cars like the Ariya and IMs. Like people all over the world, Nissan designers have been working from home during the global pandemic, and this seemed like the perfect time launch the drawing project.
The idea was launched in a video by Nissan senior vice president for global design, Alfonso Albaisa, who is sheltering at home with his two young sons. The company will post more videos by other designers in the future who discuss how art becomes reality in the process of design. The idea is to encourage people to express their creativity during this difficult time and to connect with those who might be thinking of becoming car designers themselves.
Nissan wants to see everybody’s drawings, so the company is asking artists to tag their work with the hashtag #DrawDrawDraw when they upload it to social media. Consider contributing your own masterpiece to the project; it can be anything from digital drawings to pencil and paper or markers on a wall.
We here at Ken Nelson Nissan wish you and yours a creative (and safe) summer. Remember to call us for any questions about car care or how to finance a new Nissan vehicle.
