With so many great options in the lineup, it’s a little difficult to pick which Nissan vehicle is right for you. Luckily, with the new upcoming Nissan subscription service, you might have a chance to try them all on for size.
Nissan is trying out its new subscription
service with a launch in the Houston area. The program is called “Nissan
Switch,” and it will be available with two different price tiers. A Select tier
costs $699 a month, and gives drivers access to Nissan models including the
Altima, Rogue, and Pathfinder. For access to a wider range of models, you can
choose the Premier tier for $899 a month. This adds the Nissan Maxima sedan and
the Armada full-size SUV.
Subscribers must pay $495 initially in order
to join the program, but after that the single monthly fee grants use of a
different Nissan vehicle as often as every day. That fee includes the cost of
insurance, roadside assistance, cleaning, delivery, and regular maintenance.
Arranging the next car is easy. In order to
get a different Nissan, subscribers just have to log in to the Nissan Switch
app, or text their own concierge to set up delivery. With the Nissan Switch
program, drivers can have the right vehicle for the occasion every time, while
saying goodbye to hassles like maintenance and insurance.

Thanksgiving is a celebration that many foodies look forward
to. Take some of the stress out of your holiday food prep with these helpful
Fridge real estate is in high demand in November, so before
you start into the cooking, take all those jars of jam and bottles of ketchup
and put them in a cooler for storage, freeing up the refrigerator. Or if warm
foods are taking up too much space, use the cooler’s insulation as a warming
drawer. Just line it with aluminum foil to keep foods hot.
Mashed Potatoes in the Crock Pot
Free up room on the stove by slow-roasting the mashed
potatoes in a crock pot this year. Just add in some heavy cream to the potatoes
and turn the setting on low until it’s meal time.
Need some time savers? When you go to the grocery store,
check out the salad bar and pick up some ingredients that are already prepared
to help reduce time in the kitchen.
Another way to keep foods hot is to place the finished gravy
in a thermos until dinner. Just transfer it to a gravy boat when the meal
starts and it’ll be ready to go.
Overcook the turkey? Not a problem. Warm up some chicken broth
and pour it over the sliced turkey to revive the meat and add flavor.
We here at Ken Nelson Nissan want to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. Make sure to schedule your vehicle’s pre-winter service appointment before you embark on holiday travels.
